Recycled Bottles
As my wife and I prepare to move to the Northwest, I have over 6months worth of bottles which I have to get rid of! I say get rid of because believe it or not, the city of Prescott Arizona quit taking any bottles last September which means there is no other option but for me to take them to the dump.
Sad day indeed when a city cannot come up with alternatives, than to just shut the system down. So I came across a blog post on what you can do with your bottles. Should I remained living in a city where I had no other options I would be building or utilizing my bottles. Are Fuel Cells the answer?
While solar might be a great alternative, there are the cons of this technology due to a need for batteries which not only weigh alot but also have corrosive and somewhat toxic materials. So are Fuel Cells the answer? One man on Stuart Island is working on garage type experments with creating your own backyard fuel cell which might have greater possiblites for our energy demands.
